The Platform Box

A short puzzle platformer game

This game isn't refined that much, so expect some bugs. The Android version isn't fully optimized yet, but it's playable. One of the first things you'll notice is the black-and-white aesthetics it’s designed that way. The game can be played entirely offline after installation.

There are 4 sectors in the game, each with 10 levels. That means a total of 40 levels to complete.

FOR KEYBOARD AND MOUSE:

Use the left mouse button to navigate menus.

Press "A" or "D" to move left or right.

Press "SHIFT" to dash and "SPACE" to jump.

Press "/" or right-click the mouse to attack.

Press "Z" to zoom out during gameplay. Click multiple times for different zoom levels.

While zoomed out, left-click and drag the mouse to pan around the level.

FOR TOUCHSCREEN USERS (ANDROID):

Tap or press to navigate the menu.

Use the on-screen right and left arrow buttons to move.

Press the "circle" button to dash and the "X" button to jump.

Tap the area above the X and circle buttons to attack.

Tap the upper-right corner of the screen to zoom out. Tap multiple times for different zoom levels.

While zoomed out, press and drag to pan around the level.

This is my first game released publicly. I've learned so much from this project, and I plan to keep making more games—starting with 2D and eventually moving to 3D. Right now, I’m studying programming. At first, I thought it would be too hard, and I almost gave up, but it turned out to be fun and exciting!

I'm currently focused on learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but I’ve also been practicing GDScript for a while now in preparation for future 3D games.
